Which is better – A private school or a public school?

When you look around for reputed schools where you wish to get your child admitted, then you face the problem of whether to choose a public school or one of the best private schools in Faridabad. In this article, we will give you some points which will help you make up your mind about whether to choose a private school or a public school.
1). People who are looking for one of the pre-primary admission schools, run by the government will find that most of the school seats are already booked. The reason being the fee structure of these schools is very small which allows a large number of middle and lower-middle-class families to admit their children in them. However, if you have the money, then you can get your child admitted into one of the posh pre-primary schools that have superior infrastructure and highly trained teachers. The public school in most cases lagged behind the private school in terms of insufficient infrastructure, a number of teachers and other resources.
2). As public schools are mostly free (or have very little fees), you will find a diverse group of students studying there. On the other hand, if you look at the private schools, you will find that most of them have students of the high-income group. Thus a student who studies in a public school will get more exposure compared to the one that is studying in a private school where the background of most students is homogeneous. However, there are exceptions to this rule as in some states where the government has spent a huge amount of resources on improving education. In such states, you will find that the quality of education provided in public schools almost matches that of the private schools.
3). Another thing that you will find when you admit your child in a private school is the level of discipline (the higher the reputation of a school, higher emphasis is given to discipline). There are only a few public schools that put so much focused on students dress, the way of talking and other aspects of his/her personality.
4). The range of options for the combination of subjects that a student can take is very limited in a public school, but if he is studying in a top private school then he gets a greater opportunity to get the subjects of his choice. For example, many private schools for commerce in Faridabad allow the students to take other subjects like geography, or even second language instead of any subject which a student to not want to take.
5). The overall resources spent on the students in terms of superior sports equipment, lab equipment, books in the library, playing fields and others are far higher in a private school compared to a public school which is totally dependent upon the government grants.
These points are generally true for most of the private and public schools, but there are several public schools that provide high quality education at the same time there are private schools that offer very low-quality education to their student. However, these are more exceptions than the rule. Therefore, you have to figure out, whether you have the money to send your child to a top private school or your income restricts you to send your kid to the nearest public school.
